Ashley Jones

Ashley Aubra Jones, born September 3, 1976 in America, is an actor. She's had a range of soap opera characters, such as Megan Dennison in The Young and the Restless as well as Bridget Forrester in The Bold and the Beautiful. She also portrayed the recurring role of Daphne in the second season of the HBO drama series True Blood. Ashley Jones earned a Bachelor of Human Learning, K-8 in 1997 from University of Tennessee at Martin. She started her career as an educator in Maury County where she taught children in kindergarten and Reading. After she married her UT Martin sweetheart Brent Jones in 1998, she moved into Thompsons Station. Then she began her teaching career at Bethesda Elementary, where she taught the 4th grade. Between 1999 and 2000, she taught while getting her masters in instruction through Trevecca Nazarene University but stepped away from the classroom when the family welcomed their son Baylor to the family in 2000. Ashley has spent the last fifteen years serving the community and focusing on children's growth in her church as well as the surrounding community. Ashley is a long-time leader in the Preschool Ministry as well as the Student Ministry at Thompson Station Church. Ashley worked for three years home homeschooling her kids. Through their years of home schooling children attended a home school class which Ashley as well taught History to Kindergarten and 1st grade. Ashley loved being at home with her family and she loved to teach the children. However, God made it clear that the time had come for their family members to come back fully-time. Brent as well as Ashley have five kids. Silas Eliza Cruz and Cruz and Cruz GCA students. Baylor a GCA graduate is a student at and play baseball in UT Martin. Callan as well as is a GCA graduate is enrolled at Western Kentucky University. The family is extremely involved and is fond of fishing, hunting and encouraging their friends in sporting events.
