She continued to perform there until she reached the age of 12 old when she was awarded an event that allowed her the opportunity to appear on the main stage of the Riverbend festival. The year 2010 was the first time she went to Orlando, Florida to participate in the American Model and Talent Competition. She won over 1500 contestants in the contest. Alaina performed with Georgia Country Gospel Music Association children's choir. Alaina was just 12 years old when she made her first as well as many more trips to Nashville.
